Gamesmaster Update

With no meeting held in October its time for an update from the Gamesmasters to keep you up to date with upcoming events and latest news.

Carl Jocumsen Raffle – Has been drawn and the lucky winner is Henry Moggs from Toowoomba. He’ll be joining Carl Jocumsen for a days fishing once Carl returns from the US after a very successful rookie season in the Bassmaster elite series.

Target Species –  A reminder that the target species for September and October are:

Inshore – Biggest Flathead

Offshore – Biggest Cobia

Dash for Cash Flathead – This one day shootout event will be held on Sunday, 08 November at the VMR next to SeaWorld. Registration on the morning from 6am, briefing at 6.45am and fishing from 7am til 2pm. Boundaries are the same as the Classic. Best 5 flathead combined length will take home the cash! Entry is $120 per team of either 2 or 3 anglers. For more information contact Craig Templar 0428 737 512

Monthly Points. The competition for the monthly club champion is tight with only 2 months of fish actually counting so far. In the Offshore competition, Glenn Croft is sitting on 6 points closely followed by the ever consistent Peter Denaro on 4 points.

The junior category is also proving to be hotly contested with Jaimee Horner leading with 4 points, followed by Emily Templar with 3 points.

The Inshore category sees Brett Horner on 4 points leading George Sands on 3 points.

With the weather being great lately and points being accrued for 2 months it is expected that the next submission of fish should see a major shakeup of the leaderboards.

Tight Lines!
