***Important Information regarding Mangrove Jack competition tomorrow***

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

For everyone fishing the Mangrove Jack competition tomorrow:

Due to the forecast strong winds tomorrow and safety concerns around boats travelling through the Broadwater there will now be 2 launch sites. Brett Horner will take registrations and brief from the Paradise Point Boat Ramp from 4.00am. Craig Templar will take registrations at the VMR Base next to SeaWorld from 4.00am.

The northern boundary will be the Coomera River so as to keep open The Coomera River and Sovereign Island areas. This decision is based on safety to enable everyone to fish the preferred areas and avoid having to travel on the Broadwater.

The intent ist hat anglers who launch at Paradise Point will retrieve their boats there and then drive to the VMR for the weigh in and presentations. This is to try mitigate the risk of anglers having to drive through the Broadwater in the rough conditions. A reminder that fishing time is from 5am til 11.30am.
Don’t forget your Camera and brag mat as all fish are to be photographed on a brag mat and then released!

Out of bounds areas will be explained in the brief, but will basically exclude all marina and private canals.

Any questions, please contact Craig Templar on Mobile 0428737512
