The 2025 Mackerel Classic showcased community spirit, sportsmanship, and a shared passion for fishing. From juniors to seasoned anglers, the event brought everyone together for a memorable day on the water, supported by Wilson, Swithchbait and the Gold Coast Sportfishing Club.

The Gold Coast Sportfishing Club is excited to announce the return of the 2025 Wilson Elite Flathead Series, proudly sponsored by Wilson. This premier tournament will feature three thrilling rounds leading up to an epic Grand Final, where the top anglers will compete for $20,000 in cash and prizes.

The Wilson Elite Flathead Series kicked off this past Saturday, July 20, with a spectacular first round that set the bar high for the rest of the tournament.

The Wilson Fishing Elite Series kicks off next weekend with the Zerek Round on Saturday, July 20! Entry is $95 per angler, and fishing starts at 6:30 am. Results will be announced at 6:00 pm on our Facebook page. Don't miss out!
