Round 2 Wrap-Up: Wilson Elite Series

Round 2 of the Wilson Elite Series has wrapped up, and what an exciting day it was! Teams competed to catch the five biggest Flathead by combined length, with each team aiming to secure their place in the final series. The tournament, proudly sponsored by Wilson Fishing, showcased some incredible talent and fierce competition.

Participant Highlights

Jason Swain from the Swainskis shared his excitement about their victory: “It was an epic day for us! We aimed to secure enough points to make the final, and we ended up with a total of 388 cm. The day didn’t start well, but a key move around 9:30 AM got us going. George landed an 83 cm flathead, and Hayden quickly followed with a 65 cm and a 56 cm. By 2 PM, we had added 73 cm, bringing us to about 330 cm. The real magic happened in the final stretch when we fished a big fish area and landed an 81 cm, followed by a 73 cm and a 78 cm flathead in just 35 minutes. That clinched our win!”
