Teams: 2-3 person teams
Entry Fee: $50 per junior angler

Briefing: Video published on Facebook – Friday, March 21 at 7:00 PM
Registrations Close: Friday, March 21 at 5:00 PM
Tokens: Published on Facebook – Friday, March 21 at 7:00 PM

Fishing Location: Launch from anywhere in Queensland waters
Fishing Times:

  • Start: Saturday at 5:00 AM

  • Cease: Saturday at 1:00 PM

Catch Submission:

  • Photograph all fish on a brag mat with the token clearly visible.

  • Write the token on paper or cardboard for visibility in all photos.

  • Submit scorecards by 1:15 PM via the Community Facebook Page.

Scoring and Prizes:

  • Submit three largest mackerel (maximum two Spanish, plus spotted or school).

  • Fish measured to the fork of the tail.

  • No slimy mackerel allowed.

  • Lure and bait fishing permitted.

Prize Categories:

  • Champion Junior Angler – 1st, 2nd, 3rd

  • Biggest Mackerel – Junior

Winners Announcement:

  • 3:00 PM at the GCSFC Clubhouse

  • Results posted on the GCSFC Facebook Page

  • This is a non-sanctioned event.

  • All anglers must adhere to Queensland size and bag limits.

  • Junior anglers must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
