Club Trip: Lake Maroon Fishing Classic Nov 15-17

The first of the field trips is fast approaching. It is being held the weekend of the 15-17 November at Maroon Dam. It coincides with the Maroon Fishing Classic, so there’s the added bonus of winning a Bluefin boat package for both senior and junior anglers as random draw prizes. Entry fee is $24 senior and $12 junior. All details can be found on the website www.sportstuition.com.au

All anglers register independently and I’ll make the camp booking for the group and email out details of that closer to the event.

There will be a separate points system for these trips, with the person who accumulates the most points from all the trips being awarded a Presidents Cup award, for the most consistent angler on the field trips. The points would be awarded as follows:

1 point per cm for each members largest fish for each day of the weekend; and

5 points per angler for just turning up.
