hello,

I’m considering installing Trim Tabs, and it looks like the best place for the controls is right where the boat capacity placard is now. I assume the placard must be displayed prominently, but I would like to get a replacement and put it somewhere else.

My questions:

1. Is it mandatory to have the Capacity Placard?

2. If the answer to 1. is “yes”, where can I get a replacement? It’s a 2002 Cobia, which means the original manufacturer is no longer around.
