hello,
Anyone attempted using a switch rod/double handed for boat fishing ? A shoulder injury has meant a couple of days boat fishing for trout is tough going, especially when the wind blows up a bit on our big western lakes.
I have been considering a switch rod to reduce the need for false casting using the two handed option and that the lower rod position when casting might also help.
There seem to be suitable rods in the 10ft-11ft+ range but would be interested to see if anyone has given it a go from a drifting boat and what their weapon of choice would be, if it worked out ?
Please help.
Thanks!I didn’t find the right solution from the Internet.
