hello,
I found a boat online (not THT) that I like and am going to see it this weekend. Assuming I like it and negotiate a price with the seller, is that price set in stone? He knows I plan on a full survey, and if that shows something that needs attention, I would think the price could be amended accordingly, correct?
Should I leave a deposit with him? Lets say the negotiated price is $50K, how much deposit? I also believe this should be refundable if the survey shows something bad, correct? Yes, it will be a check and not cash…
How does the warranty get transferred on the engine and hull? Do I have to contact the manufacturers?
