hello,
I’m looking to purchase either the Go9xse with the totalscan transducer bundle OR the Raymarine Axiom 9 RV with the RealView transducer bundle. I do not expect to operate either product much beyond 100′ and the priority is sonar performance with the bundled transducer. Primary operational depth will be in the 20-60 foot range. I do not think I will be upgrading the transducer.

I understand the Simrad is a more mature product and there seems to be nothing but praise for it on this forum. On the other hand, the Raymarine is a much newer product and user reports on the internet appear to be somewhat less definite. On paper, the Raymarine appears to be a superior product with a gryo stabilized 3D transducer and an apparently very snappy processor.
Please help.
