    hello,

Was float fishing today with the better half for the last 3 hours of the flood tide off the harbour pier we were using mackeral strips for bait and were catching the usual coalies and micro cod I was also using a feeder filled with sardine oil soaked cotton wool so I had just refilled the feeder with the oily cotton wool and put on a fresh piece of mackeral and cast out quite a bit I was hoping for a mackeral anyway the float went down then up then down again and I tightened up fish on to cut a long story short it swam towards me and I saw it and I would swear it was a shark of some sort needless to say it snapped my 12lb line when it realised it was hooked What I’d like to know is this possible in the moray firth it was about 4ft long

    Thanks!
