Invite to Game Fish Club: Juvenile Black Marlin Talk
The Gold Coast Game Fish Club invites Gold Coast Sportfishing Club members to a special presentationnext month to the Friday 25th November at Game Base Runaway Bay, we have the privilege of have Mr Elliott Stark Science and Policy Specialist / The Billfish Foundation Fort Lauderdale, Florida USA alone to meet everyone while here in Australia. Elliot has agreed to speak for a short while as well.
We are also arranging a couple of prominent fishing experts to address the gathering on the art of lure fishing for juvenile black marlin, live baiting for juvenile black marlin and the best places to do so. This will be a quite informative address with a substantial time set aside for a question and answer session, as we lead up to the little blacks season and of course our Light (8 KG)Tackle Masters Tournament on the 19 – 22 January.
Little blacks are caught predominantly on light gear and in grounds as shallow as 20 mtrs. Spot X, Deep Trag, the Gravel Patch and the Water Tower are all in reach of smaller boats and no need for heavy gear, fighting chairs etc.
The committee has asked me to invite the committee and members to join us on the night as our guests to enjoy Elliot and the sessions on Juvenile Marlin.
We provide a light snack and you can BYO or purchase from the bar. Our meeting starts at 6PM
