Helpers wanted for the Classic

Here is your chance to support the Gold Coast Flathead Classic and be a helper for the event. We have a number of different jobs that need support. Have a look at the list and register your interest at our last club night before the classic or email be at [email protected].  Don’t leave this to a few people get involved and support your club!

• On water marshalls/promo Boat and crew, and Ramp Marshals : Your job will be to fly the flag (sponsors adverts) randomly check boats in a friendly manner. Give away random products, take photos. You need your own boat. Need own boat and availability durting event .Ramp marshall you can do this job as a stand alone stop by boat ramps at launch times checking safety gear, live wells etc  can then go off to work if you are not fishing the event.
• Dinner Ticket checkers: We require 2 people per night to be at the line stamping tickets and handing out the token for the next day. Traditionally committee members have fullfilled this role but during the event they can be quite busy. We can have different people on different days, there are four meal servings and this jon suits people either fishing the event or not.
• Sponsor Liason: Someone available throughout the event to be the go to person on site for sponsors. You don’t have to solve all problems but need to connect the dots.
• Bag Pack Night helpers: stay tuned for information on this a crew of approx 20 people will be required to assist with the tournament bag pack Monday 1st October 7.00pm. Helpers may also be required during the day to transport sponsor product to the site.
• Set up Day Helpers: Wednesday 3rd during the day a small group of hands on people are always great to have.
• Presentation team: a small group of  people say 4 ish who are accross all the prizes and trophies, responsible for oragnizing the grouping and having it ready to present. Can suit people fishing the tournament
• Registration Tent: Small group of people to assist with the registration process
• Capture Sheets /Fish pic Check in:This  is a crew that is on the desk that collects the daily capture sheets and downloads pics from sim cards. We specifically need someone to help Rob with their own laptop so we can have 2 lanes for downloading pics.
• Data team: We still need a few helpers who are experienced on computer to enter capture data
• Clean up Crew: all hands on deck at the end of the event for a quick clean up!

Encouraging clean up after meals, encouraging on water safety and sportsmanship, taking photos,Final Clean up if a job is unfullfilled we will be looking for helpers on the spot!
